2010 PWC Folkstyle Practice Schedule

The Portage Wrestling Club practices every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 pm. to 7:30 pm. at Portage Central High School. New in 2010, the PWC will offer a Novice practice on Wednesday nights from 6-7:30 pm.

Tournament Sign ups

  • Starting with the Mendon Novice Tournament, we will have a tournament sign up sheet every Tuesday for the upcoming Sunday tournament.
  • Parents/Wrestlers must sign up and pay the entry fee if they plan to compete in that weeks tournament.
  • If wrestlers are not able to attend Tuesdays practice but still want to compete that weekend, they must contact a coach or PWC board member ASAP.
  • Any wrestlers that are not signed up by Thursday evening will not be allowed to wrestle that weekend per MYWA pre-registration rules.

All wrestlers must weigh in wearing either a singlet or shorts and t-shirt.

All wrestlers must wear headgear at tournaments.

MYWA requires that wrestlers compete in at least two tournaments to qualify for the Individual Regionals.
